Native to the Mediterranean, but now cosmopolitan. Common in fields, especially on milkweed.

Where To Find

Fields with milkweed.

Relationships

Feeds on the sap of members of the Dogbane family, especially Common Milkweed. Like other milkweed specialists, this species becomes toxic to predators.
