An Eastern Bat Bug collected in Allegany Co., Maryland (5/4/2015). Notes from Richard Orr: This Bat Bug (Cimex adjunctus) resembles the closely related Bed Bug that feeds on humans. However, this species feeds on the blood of bats. Collected by Rebecca Hiller on May 4, 2015 from a Big Brown Bat (Eptesicus fuscus).
