Preferred larval host is Angelica atropurpurea. Also uses Heracleum maximum, Pastinaca sativa, Arctium sp., and Arnoglossum sp. Larvae bore aabove ground into stems and petioles. (Quinter E.L., McBride A.E. (2025) The Moths of North America.)
