Atlantic Ghost Crabs are commonly found along the beaches of the western Atlantic from Rhode Island to Brazil. These crabs are often observed in the dunes above the high tide mark where they build burrows. Atlantic Ghost Crabs are most active at night when they leave their burrows to feed on various invertebrates.
