"The complex was analyzed with great care by Bradford Betz (1983, Can. Entomol. 115: 1129-54). It consists of a single sexual species, T. alexanderae Sommerman, and three parthenogenetic species, T. castum, T. innuptum, and T. merum, each named and described by Betz. His paper is, in my opinion, an excellent example of the application of basic statistical methods to a difficult taxonomic problem" (E.L. Mockford/BugGuide).
